The sport of showjumping is an expensive, difficult and extremely time-consuming business and any sponsorship or help in any form is always appreciated. Sophie would like to thank the below businesses for their help and support.

| PRYDES EASI-FEED Prydes is an Australian based company who have been specialising in extruded feeds for 25 years. An extensive range catering for young horses and pregnant/lactating mares to performance horses with varying needs, combined professional nutritional composition of only the best quality ingredients, provides the best possible feed option for the Maverick Sporthorses team. I choose Prydes horse feeds because of the quality nutrition, cool, responsive energy and super muscle, body and coat condition that it provides. The Maverick Sporthorses team runs on... EasiResult: a palatable feed that provides good energy and excellent overall coat and body condition. The horses love it! EasiSport: grain free with a very high fibre content gives cool, sustainable energy to help balance and support the hotter horses, giving them the right mindset to deal with the stresses of competition and travel. BioMare Cubes: high nutrient content and full fat soybeans allows for optimum growth in the young horses and proper support for pregnant and lactating mares. Also great for conditioning horses. Rebuild: high protein supports muscle and topline conditioning in the horses that require more work to keep the weight on. Polished: helps to keep the hooves strong and healthy to cope with the stresses of the showjumping season, also helps to keep the horses looking their very best. ![]() | SHARD FARM SADDLERY Debbie Smith from Shard Farm Saddlery in the South Island, provided some excellent prices for the best winter rugs that the Maverick horses have ever had at the end of the 2009/2010 season. We've had big problems rugging up the big, compact and muscly boys and have never been been able to do up the front chest strap successfully. Debbie's rugs are superb and fit like a glove; the horses love them and they're so well made and tough (they've lasted two whole winters with no repairs!). We use the Elite 1680 denier, 300g fill model (pictured left). These really are a great buy and are priced at a very competitive rate with other similar designs on the market!
